You need 3 or more locomotives for the long grade between Diviaky and Horná Štubňa.
We met this train at Odbočka Dolná Štubňa and the 3 locos worked very hard. You could hear it. ;-)
The train had a maximum speed around 30km/h. |

Last time in Slovakia (station of Betliar) we meet an old man. I think earlier he worked for ČSD.
He asked if a train will come and i told him anything about a freight train with Bardotka.
"Bardotka", he said, is a typical nickname in Czech. In Slovakia they normally say "Zamračená".
And if you take a look in the "face" of T478.1 you know what Zamračená means. ;-) |

i know this numbers from kolejowa klatka, but it isn´t the right source!
07 046 and 055 have charakters like class 130/ 230 of Deutsche Reichsbahn.
Both blue locomotives have charakters of class 132/ 232.
Take a look on the side walls:
07 046 and 055 have 4 windows for engine room, 232 has 5 windows, because it is longer.
On the frame you have windows for inspections...07 046 and 055 has between the doors 8 windows for that, 232 has 10 windows, because it is longer.
07 046 and 055 don´t have a roof ventilator for electric brake, 232 has it. |

How long run the train via Łupków?
I don´t know but the traffic isn´t regular. Yesterday, for example, no train runs on the route.
The noises of both engines are very prominent.
You can here the Slowakian train some time before arriving at this station. It bangs "bamm, bamm, bamm" in the wood. :-) |

the traffic to Będzin Łagisza Elektrownia takes place from Monday to Friday and it´s variable from day to day.
On this day - we stayed there from 8:30 to 14:00 - arrived 1 loaded train with 2x ST44 and a couple of ST44 without a train. Later left 1 Tamara of KOLTAR with unloaded train and 1 couple of ST44 with unloaded train the station of Elektrownia (photo). The 2nd couple of ST44 with unloaded train left later...when...I don´t know. |

On the photo you can the second part of train for dealer in coal in Nowa Ruda. They changed the cars and waited for unloading. Finish of shunting was at 4 o´clock pm. After that they parked the locomotive in front of station building.
I don´t know when they leave the station with the empty cars. |

No, still this line shall exist. But it is interrupted in the area of motorway A9 in Moßbach. The old bridge was for a four-track motorway. Now the A9 has 6 tracks.
Some years ago there were some traffic with track motor cars.

Last regular train ran in June 1998 before timetable change in summer.
After that there were some transportations of transformators to transformator station in Remptendorf.
Finally they closed this route for all trains around year 2000. |

yes, i know. I visited the area around Kamieniec last week and met both old friends (1215 & 1221) from Szczecinek again.
There is a lot of traffic and i catched nearly all locomotives. I want come back... ;-)

You need a train in the morning around 8 o clock.
This train left Czersk nearly 07:45 after arrival of railcar (szynobus) from Bąk.
One week ealier we took photos of dirty 1102. But it ran later and the sun was more in the south.
Now i think the tree has foliage and masks the gable. :-/ |

At these time DB Reise & Touristik rented class 180 from DB Cargo (today DB Schenker). The engines were/ are "at home" in Dresden and changed with another 180 with the nighttrain from/ to Prague.

We say in Germany to start activity of V200 "Russian minute" because it needs nearly 50 seconds to start. *smile* |

If you want you can monitor trains in Brocken-station.

You will see that often the station is surrounded by clouds and fog.
In these morning we (a friend of mine and me) were lucky. It was very windy on Brocken and the clouds moved quickly. After return of this train it was windless and quickly it was very foggy. |

Does it often hapen that Gagarin comes from Krzyż without a train?
It picked up some freight cars from Gorzów to Kostrzyn.
