In the north of Italy there's a single track line that connect Trento to Bassano del Grappa and Venice. From Trento to Bassano the railway runs through the nice valley call "Valsugana".
After a few kilometers from Trento, and a tortuous path with gradients up to 2,5%, the train comes to the "Caldonazzo's Lake".
In the photo, you can see a modern DMU "Minuetto" (Coradia of Alstom) with a local service from Trento to Bassano del Grappa. |
